CNC Single Part Setup Fee

This service covers the setup and programming for one component of your call, either a barrel or an insert.
If you need both parts programmed, please select a quantity of two.

A Delrin sample will be machined and shipped within 1–2 weeks for your approval.

Barrels (Duck & Goose)

• Interior boring
• Exterior profile turning
• Band tenon with glue grooves or goose insert tenon with O-ring grooves

Note: Barrels exceeding 3.25” in length may incur additional machining fees due to increased production time.

Duck Inserts

• Tone board channel boring (depth-specific)
• Exterior profile turning
• Reaming of exhaust, tone board tenon, and O-ring grooves (if applicable)

Recommended: Tone board tenon length of 2.10” for optimal performance.

Custom Options

If you only need profile turning with a 1/2” or 5/8” bore for a sleeved tenon, let us know.
Reduced machining time may qualify for per-piece cost savings.

For sleeving materials, we recommend Pintail Waterfowl.

Important Notes

• Tone board milling is not currently offered. Our goal is to deliver an insert that’s ready for you to drop into your jig and begin tuning immediately.
• Parts will come off the CNC with a fairly smooth finish. For a true glass-like finish, wet sanding and polishing are recommended.

Submitting Your Design

Please provide one of the following:

• A physical sample of your call, or
• A detailed blueprint (a dimensioned sketch is perfectly acceptable)

If you send a physical sample, it will be returned with your order. Only with your written permission will we keep your sample on hand for future reference and customer showcase.

Please ship a sample of your call or provide a detailed blueprint,(a sketch with measurements will suffice). we will ship it back with the sample... or if granted we can add it to our shop's customer showcase!
